What is ContextQuickView™?

ioIsland.com ContextQuickView is a Context Menu Extension for Windows. When the system context menu (right click menu) is shown for an image, a thumbnail of the image will appear in the menu. The context menu is show when right clicking in My Computer, Windows Explorer, the Desktop, Common Save and Open Dialogs (used by many programs), and many other programs that show the system context menu when right clicking on a file.

ContextQuickView™ can easily save thumbnails of images with a simple click of the mouse. Converting to other image file formats is also just as easy!

ContextQuickView™ can also set any image to the desktop background, tiled, centered, or stretched - there is not need to convert it to a JPG or BMP first, ContextQuickView does that for you.

Requirements

Windows 98/ME/2000/XP or Windows 95/NT with Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later) and Windows Desktop Update installed. Basically, it should work on most versions of Windows.

Q - The thumbnails I create look fuzzy, is there something I can do about that?

A - YES. Right Click on an image and select Configure ContextQuickView from the menus. In the Configuration dialog, try the different resample filters that are available. Different kinds of images look better with different filters, so you'll just have to experiment with them.
